Each Year

On Labor Day Weekend

Hickory Hill Campground is host to Zeschke Fest, an annual tradition that was started in 2013 by Cary and Terri Zeschke. It serves as a heartfelt tribute and a crucial fundraiser for HOOAH Deer Hunt for Heroes. This event not only celebrates the spirit of camaraderie and adventure but also reminds us of the sacrifices made by our military heroes. Zeschke Fest brings together families, friends, and the community to honor, support, and give back to those who have selflessly served our nation. Join us each year for this incredible journey of gratitude, unity, and fun!

Over the years

Over the years Zeschke Fest has proven to be a weekend full of activities and family fun for all.  These have been just a few of the features:

  • Vendor Fair

  • Dunk Tank

  • Kids Fishing Tournament

  • Axe Throwing Trailer

  • Foam machine

  • Paintball target shooting

  • Food Trucks

  • Live bands

  • Some amazing raffles, including a custom golf cart and vacations!

And, as always, the main event is the live auction, where we auction off incredible merchandise, and everyone has the chance to meet some of the heroes from HOOAH.

Don’t miss the next Zeschke Fest and make sure you get your camping reservations for Labor day 2024!
